We have some neurotic cats who occasionally use our furniture instead of their litter boxes. In desperation, we had started laying strips of foil over our chairs and sofa. Far from ideal, and wasteful since the foil was not very durable. Then I ran across Magic Fabric covers (on a Made in the US site), and we are in love! The covers are a double layer of satisfyingly heavy and comfy fabric with the waterproof backing inside; the construction is sturdy. The cats (and dogs) love to lie on them, but they can’t hurt the furniture through them. If someone misbehaves, the covers can just go through the wash. I am SO grateful to have discovered them. And the company is very responsive to questions. There are no drawbacks to these covers. By the way, the available colors are also lovely and broadly complementary. And this just occurred to me: If you have a family member who struggles with incontinence, or is in the process of potty training, these could be useful without advertising the issue.

The color Eclipse is very “rich” looking. You can see and feel the quality of the product . I must say I don’t order off line because I have found high quality to be lacking. I have recommended to several friends already. Thank you for not disappointing.

We have a German short hair and he loves to be nestled so we finally broke down and got something more appropriate as the blankets were not for the visitors. This is very easy and simple to use and remove for visitors. Loving it and plan on buying one for my sofa as well.

Welcoming a puppy is so awesome and so not easy. Our girl, Bailey has been relatively easy, but she is still a puppy and has had a few accidents. We pack our Magic Fabrics for the road as well as use them as the bottom layer of her crate/pen. No odor and looks just like new after each washing.
